A Walking photo. Tried to use the sun to backlight the seed pods. Not sure why the background seems so noisy.
Keeping the balance of adulthood and childhood. My 18 yr. old voted for the first time and promptly went and bought 101 Dalmations. Can't grow up too fast now.
A garden preview on a lovely Spring day, planning for an event later in the year. This sunny moment was a lucky phone capture!
Just wanted to thank skeletalmess again for supplying all those great textured backgrounds:

Thanks again.
This is how we begin our year: waiting. My husband hung this bird feeder right before New Year's and we are waiting for our beloved cardinals to find their way to their new home. It struck me that we are also waiting for Tim to find his way home from an extended project for work. We look out our window every morning waiting for the birds and we can't wait for the day they arrive and Tim is home to appreciate his handiwork.
I'm having a very undecisive week. I love this photo because Little Pea looks just like a little doll. I actually entered this photo into Detra's "Pastels" contest to win a spot in her natural light workshop. I'm sure it won't even come close but I figure if I keep entering these contests, someday I'll get SOMETHING, right?? Gotta keep trying. . .
Last week was what now seems like the last week of summer
Good things that I took Saturday completely off to enjoy one last time the beauty of living in Spain. Woke up late and saw the blue sky. Breakfast on the balcony. Then out to the haidresser. Followed by some patatas bravas and a coke outside of a bar tapa. Walked back home and out again to the beach with the week magazine. It was quite perfect :)
Little Pea modeling her photo props. I almost died when I saw this ruffle romper on Etsy and of course she needed an equally over the top headband to coordinate. I love dressing up Little Pea. I'm also claiming this as part of her milestone portrait series--9 months old.
This lovely little birdhouse is borrowed every year by different birds. It's located at the senior's home where my father lives now and I couldn't resist.
I'm a little late starting so playing a little catch-up here with all this free time I have. I'm trying to use only my Lensbaby Composer for this 52 week project.
