It was Dulcie's idea to take a photo of the campervan on the yellow blanket so it looked like sand!

I wrote up a post about the build for GeekDad and we made a groovy time lapse video of it too.

No apologies for another sparkling droplet from the garden. Alchemilla mollis is a great plant for catching drops.

Little awkward start of this years P52. First, didn't want to commit, then couldn't decide, lastly couldn't resist. So here we go with the second season. I will try to get some nice assignments in, along with travel and diary type shots - I have some nice ideas but overall will not be as focussed as last year - simply due to time constraints. Good luck to all P52 and 365 fellows!

To worry less about crisp focus and to do less post processing! (might not last)

Project 52 #1

HBW!

So close to 5ft! If she could just tippie toe a little higher.

I've thought for a few days about this one, and besides listing the obvious list of New Year's resolutions (of which I have many!!) I've been battling my over-reacting mind this week with a stupid fear of the dentist! Being 38 weeks pregnant with baby number 3 has played havoc on my once perfect, cavity-free pearlies. Now I am horrified to need lots of work, starting this Friday! Anyway, I am planning on resolving my fear of the dentist, and as my 3 year old said; 'There are no scary monsters there mummy.' I just needed a little perspective....

Nothing like a few layers of chocolate heaven to make a Saturday extra special. I meant to bring my big camera, but love how the cell photo turned out.

I wish time could be bought.

This is part of my 52 Weeks Project, featuring my friend Rui Silva.

Me on the way into work. This day was full of those good morning shadows.

Wheat

Another try with the photo light tent. It is a tradition to have 7 wheat ears from the last summer in one's home : it is supposed to bring luck. Those ears date back from 2009 : they are the remains from a flower bouquet I got from my colleagues in some hard times.

Andreas Eriksson is a young writer and liberal debater based in Gothenburg.

This is Summer the Maltipoo. I adopted her years ago (she's about... 10 years old); I was told she came from an abused home so she's very, very shy around people and other animals. She still gets scared over a lot of stuff such as walking her towards the trash can, raising anything above her head, and very loud noises.

However, Summer loves to play (and roll) in dirt, eat everything in sight and sleep all day.
