It has been a few years since I have been on flickr but here goes...I have forgotten so much and am struggling with my camera and processing but here is to a new year of learning :-)
Explored - crazy as not been on here for years (!) but thank you for viewing.
Despite the technical issues with this image, I like the bold, graphic character of the backlit, overlapping fronds.
The more I work on these prompts, the more inspiration I'm finding around my own house. My house was built in 1921; these are the original hardwood floors. Funny story, before this house was renovated four years ago, it was ransacked by raccoons. I'm sure the distress of these floors is mostly due to them, but I like the character it gives, even if it is broken down.

This project does not look even close to what I would like it to look like but Ok this is a first trial
I'll keep working on it and the one from 2009 will be better :)
