I am working on a BJD project of my own.
Not sure if it's going to work out the way I want, but I am having fun, and am making photos to see the progress :P
I am not a professional if it comes to sculpting, so these images aren't so special. But seeing them in a sequence is more fun I guess, because you can see the face grow.
And it's so much fun to work on. Whenever I have a couple of minutes, I will get some clay and add a bit more detail to her.
In the mean time I keep changing her face while working on her. I try to decide what I want, but I am having a better picture of her in mind now, lol.

I own a number of pair of Uggs, but generally I wear only two of them, a pair of child's size 13 (black) that I had to modify to get my feet into them, and these women's size 2 (US) that fit OK as I got them, although my toes are very curled up in the roomy tor box.
In fact, all my other Uggs are in a box in my storage unit. I suppose I could get one or another pair from time to time for variety, but I enjoy wearing thee two pair so much.
One thing about Uggs, they are not at all waterproof. The uppers soak up water until they are saturated, and depending on what darker color the leather is died with, you may find your wet feet dyed as well.
This was a rainy day the person in the mall wearing tan boots has wet toes in the photograph.
In case you were not aware, they are considered unisex, they were first made in Australia to be worn by surfers when they were on the beach. Not that it makes much difference to me, I'll pretty much wear any shoe I can get my (small) feet into, men's women's or child's. Although I've never tried to wear a pair of stilleto heels (but might if I came by a pair).
I hardly ever attempt more 'portraity' type stuff with my own kids because they are TYPICAL photographer kids who are way too used to having the camea shoved in their face. Went out today and somehow by the grace of all that is holy I got this shot. All I could think of the whole time is that I am sorry for the photographer who is taking our family pictures this year(sorry Tara, they are hooligans...thank god it's you because I think you are the only one who can tame them! hahahaha)...
Ferryboat "Pauline" owned by Elihu Alden (1851-1935) of Petersburg, Kentucky (Ohio River mile 495)
This small ferryboat ran between Petersburg, Kentucky on the Kentucky bank and the towns of Lawrenceburg and Aurora on the Indiana bank.
It appears to be powered by a steam engine (notice the steam whistle over the pilothouse) turning a propeller.
My great grandfather Elihu Alden named it after his daughter [not sister as seen in the EXIF data] Pauline Alden Walton, known as "Deekie" by some family members.

Clough's own copy of the Shell Guide to North Wales, into which he has pasted a news cutting about the opening of Gerddi Bluog as a youth hostel (it's since ceased to be one), which mentions that "the recent extensions were made to the design of Clough William Ellis [sic] the architect famous for Portmeirion".
Clough has added a handwritten note to this -
"Yes, but the monstrous further wing that over-powers the scene + upsets the balance of the of the facade was blown up [ie enlarged] by the owner without my knowledge or consent, entirely disastrous both inside and out.
"I drafted the original plans but did not act as contracting architect. The local authority threatened to demolish this over sized wing because of its departure from any plan"

Owned now by the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad this Truck has been converted to be uses on the rails. The S series was a range of medium and heavy-duty conventional trucks that was introduced in 1977 to replace and widen the LoadStar and FleetStar lines. It used a new cab with flat panels and forward tilting hood in different lengths. Reference Wikipedia.

Dar Mlodziezy has been owned by the Gdynia Maritime Academy since she was built in 1982. Her name means “the gift of youth” and she replaced the beautiful frigate Dar Pormoza which had trained future officers of merchant and fishing fleets for over fifty years.
She proved to be a highly successful sail training ship and four other sisters were built in the following years, Druzhba, Khersonses, Mir, Nadeshda, Pallada. She has graced the Tall Ships’ Races with her presence on a regular basis for around 25 years.
Her debut was in 1982 when she crossed the start line directly after being commissioned. She has undertaken circumnavigations of the globe which included the 200th anniversary of Australia in Sydney in 1988.

Isar owns land where he grows oil palm under an agreement with the nearby oil palm plantation. The oil palm company agrees to buy his fruits, deducting for maintenance and labor that they supply. He is also paid a daily wage to work his own land. The net benefit compared to simply working on a plantation is approximately 50% greater monthly income or about $150/month total. From a March 2009 trip with writer William deBuys traveling to Indonesian Borneo (Central Kalimantan, Indonesia) to visit with NGOs Yayorin and Orangutan Foundation UK to explore the social and environmental dynamics of forest conservation in and around the Lamandau Wildlife Reserve. The LWR is a release site for the Bornean Orangutans, the central area for an upcoming Rare Pride Campaign, and site of a proposed community-based carbon trading demonstration site for the UNDP's REDD (Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Degradation) program.
Established in Notting Hill in 1990, Beach Blanket Babylon describes itself as a "club for the discerning without requiring a membership”. In 2007, they opened the Shoreditch branch, which I’d been going past for years (if you’re heading down bethnal Green Road from Shoreditch High Street station you can’t miss it) without really knowing what it was or what it was doing there. Look for stone (not sure if actually stone) eagles on the outside.
Anyway, they invited us along to the launch of ‘Host Your Own Roast’. Which is 50% party, 50% roast dinner. Combining Sunday Roasts and a party (on Sunday, obviously) is a pretty...astute idea that I can't say I've seen in all that many places. Also when it's a party at someone else's place (i.e BBB's place) you don't need to do the washing up. Unless you want to.
Other things of note where bottomless bloody marys (which I don’t really understand in this context but am not going to complain about), the chefs coming out to carve food as part of the demonstration (and as you can see, it was a LOT of food), a lemon meringue pie of legendary quality, and me dressed as a chef (no pictures of this survive)
The shots you see were taken inside the bar/restaurant area - which looks cool as fuck. BBB seem to focus on Modern European/British cuisine and a reasonable selection of wines and cocktails. It definitely reminds me of a wine bar/lounge. On that note, downstairs is a lounge that seats about 300 I believe (it was closed when I visited). I should quite like to return :D
Dear friends, I present you « my » darling red Panda !! “My” own red Panda, living in “my” own beloved China! It is expressive, photogenic, and happy, as you see…Visitors adore it!! He has a companion , of course, but she was sleeping while I was shooting…
And where one can possibly find “my” China? Why, here, in my little Belgium, of course! Belgium is a small country counting kilometers and boundaries, but a huge country in other measures, like the fact that it is, for example, a really green country! Brussels is one of the greenest cities around the world! The cars pass through some of its beautiful forests, just for an ordinary drive within Brussels!
And I have the huge chance within Belgium, to visit whenever I wish, a real magnificent site, a large, original, magnificent China garden!! It is found within a Paradisiacal huge space , which used to be called Paradisio, and recently is called Pairi Daiza.
Pairi Daiza is simply referred as an “Animal Park”. But this description only describes a little detail of this Park….Because here you can find the most extraordinary of Rose Gardens in Belgium !! An African Village!! An Australian Garden!! An Indonesian Village!!!And a Chinese little Village, with an extraordinary big Chinese Garden!! And all of these miracles are created and built by original, native, experienced professionals of each of the above-mentioned countries.
