Towneley Park is owned and managed by Burnley Borough Council and is the largest and most popular park in Burnley, Lancashire, England.[1] The main entrance to the park is within a mile of the town centre and the park extends to the south east, covering an area of some 180 hectares (440 acres). Today was my lucky dragonfly photographing day. Since now, I have been able only a few times to take photos of flying dragonflies, mostly not too good.
Today somehow it worked! Isn't this elegant hunter a beauty?

This Adelie Penguin looks very happy to have his own ice island. Taken from a zodiac near Paulet Island, which is a circular island off the north-east end of the Antarctic Peninsula. It is a popular tourist stop because of the large Adelie Penguin colony. This was the fifth penguin 🐧 species that we saw.
I have been away for a few days so will catch up with everyone.
