Chasing raindrop splashes with the high speed JPG mode (High speed 1, 15 FPS at 3MP).

I was walking across a pedestrian bridge, playing with slow shutter speeds on a sunny day, when this fellow crawled up a concrete abutment and jumped onto the bridge. There are proper ways up, but he exclaimed "I don't want to wait on the light."
Processing Note: Overexposed image was contrast enhanced with a "Daidoish" preset (exposure, contrast, and clear-view increased; blacks increased and whites decreased in curves to clip blacks and highlights) then Silver Efex (Film noir 1 preset).
This is a Thursday walk in Downtown St. Paul interpreted as a Harris shutter effect variant. Three moving camera (walking) images were registered on a relatively stationary subject (relatively moving towards the camera) then combined for a subtractive filter Harris shutter effect. This was composited with one of the original images through a mask whilst imagining Magritte's Empire of Light.

This composite is from a sequence of photos registered (more or less) on the moving pedestrian at similar point in stride, then combined for a subtractive filter Harris shutter effect (HSE).
Details
This modified Harris Shutter Effect image generates colored "ghosts" on a black background. Displaced background elements (versus the frame registered subject) are emphasized while indistinguishable features turn black.

The Walker Art Center is hosting an exhibition of David Hockney paintings, through which people wandered. The painting of a pool in the background was rendered in false color due to subtraction of one color layer where the principal moving subject passed.

Technical Trivia :
The Harris shutter effect, done digitally, combines color layers from three different photographs. Things that move between exposures appear as colored ghosts. HSE Colors were emphasized and background colors de-emphasized by converting each image to black and white before combining them.
Addendum: The BW "look" was chosen to highlight raindrop streaks, rather than maximize overall contrast: Kodak T-max 400 film with purplish blue color filter emulation (DXO filmpack), contrast enhancement, then applied another simulated tone/style (Silver EFX, "Wet Rocks" preset)
The title idiom is the earliest known published version, circa 1633, as reported by www.phrases.org.uk/.
Utata's Iron Photographer challenge 238 asks for compositions containing:
1 - a stack of three things (coins)
2 - one red thing (owl)
3 - cinematic aspect ratio

The last big storm of the winter arrived late, on April 14. We couldn't resist a walk during the heaviest snowfall. I selected a slow shutter speed, hoping for blurred snow and/or figures on a white background.
A different perspective on this tree, with the sun coming through the leaves from behind. The early morning sun came with a biker, heading to school.
Worlds revolve in the palm of my hand
and my wolves howl deep into the night.

This image is of a flower was taken atop Mount Scott in the Wichita Mountains wildlife refuge.
Perforations in this 1969 film leader (Agfa Isopan ISS) may be for a pre-DX film ID system or for automated processing, according to the internet speculations I've found.
Processing note: This camera needs noise reduction and I used DXO prime. Adox CMS 20 film simulation (DXO FilmPack) gave the high contrast BW product.
