I liked the buildings in this image, but the person carrying the deer head blends into the background.
Utata's Thursday walk invites us to take a camera when we might not, perhaps taking a different path, and take more photographs than usual. This is the third image in the past year that has been explored but would not exist if not for the reminder to keep trying.

Technical Details:
The bus in the original image was too bright for my taste, and a black & white version was not differentiated at the top, so I went for a hybrid that enhanced puddle details but had more muted color. A high contrast B&W version was prepared (DXO filmpack, AGFA APX 25 preset) and blended (25%, normal blending mode) with the original to mute color. Contrast was then enhanced using Jeff Masamori's quick method (generate a copy, equalize histogram, then blend with the original).
Addendum I have since learned that the combination of a B&W image with a color one is a form of bleach bypass processing.
Here is my new release for Access Nov Round. The Virtuous Hat is a more formal, bigger hat, made for a winter fashion. With a more detailed texture and components the Virtuous will be a good addition for your winter wardrobe. You can customize the top and the bottom of the hat with different tones, and also the leather belt with the edges and metals. Hope you like it!

I've been playing around with a preset for Daido Moriyama style images for some time. I suspect my initial interest was sparked by Ruben's "Moriyama Kit" of Lightroom presets mentioned here, if not built on it outright:

Briefly, this seeks to imitate the look of Moriyama's black and white film images by increasing exposure, adjusting curves to blow highlights and crush blacks. Some color manipulation enhances the effect before BW conversion.
A side effect is that it expands the midrange of an underexposed or flat image. I've been playing with this on color images and enjoy some of the the results. My images using a Daidoish filter can be found here:

どっちもインキュバスなのでいちおうタチ。アイヒエはどちらかというと女性っぽい外見なんだけど。悪魔をちゃんと描いたのって初めてだわ。
で、この絵からまた塗りだのなんだのをガラッと変えています。ガッツリ厚塗り。割と自分で気に入った絵柄になったので、これで落ち着くといいなぁ。
Two incubus who worked rather hard on their character creation.
← "Yyia / Irreverent" and → "Eyehiea / Impulsive".
They are both incubus, so they are both top. But Eyehiea has a rather feminine appearance. This is the first time I've ever drawn a demon properly.
And from this picture, I've completely changed the painting style again. Gutsy thick paint. I hope I can settle down now because I'm rather pleased with the design of the picture.

These tiny orange spheres reminded me of scoops of orange colored ice cream, so I added a leafy garnish for presentation.
Details:
Lycogala epidendrum, (wolf's milk or Groening's slime) forms small clusters of textured orange spheres that ooze orange slime when punctured.
White balance used the tiny gray cups as reference.
A single focus (not stacked) image was also prepared, minimizing the tiny gray cup fungi. Contrast and color enhancement with Topaz Restyle (reef at night preset, 40% normal blending mode).
Processing notes:
Contrast enhanced with a "Daidoish" preset (exposure, contrast, and clear-view increased; blacks increased and whites decreased in curves to clip blacks and highlights) then Silver Efex (wet rocks preset).
