One fifth of me was broken, and the rest was about to collapse. As small petals falling lightly and being carried by the winds.
Went out to the local woods with my camera earlier today, the light was good. Unfortunately, I didn't get anything worth publishing, but it felt good to put on my walking boots and wade through muddy puddles.
So here is an insect taken in our garden during the summer. Hopefully will have something new to post soon.

Rose
Many of you will know about our 'Almost Rose'. When we moved here 16 years ago, she was not well and I was gloing to pull her out. I decided to see if a little TLC over a couple of years would help and she has produced blooms ever since. Looks like this year we will only get the one bloom.
One of my cars is a PT cruiser , its customized and has a bed in the back, I had a friend drive me so I could rest in the back while I am still healing from the fire. I will not bend or break and i will not stop shooting, no matter what it takes :) to all my friends thank you from the bottom of my heart , for your love support and friendship , you mean the world to me very much :) i so much love to share with you and looking at all of your wonderful pictures :)
Nothing so delights a mother than to see her offspring grow, she admires the little ones as they stretch and develop
I really like this shot but then I am not very happy with it. The Ibis that is on the right side is cut off. I wanted to show how many there was, but I can't get them all in frame. I guess I am going to have to try again. The other aspect of this image is the purple flowers\weeds. Not sure what they are. My wife calls them Florida Snow, because we always see them this time of year and it is everywhere in the park. I assume its a bud from the Saint Augustine Grass.
Somehow this looked a lot better through the viewfinder than the resulting image...basically I’ve mangled the living hell out of the pixels I captured.

One of my old time favourites!
In 2010 I belonged to six photographers who were invited to take photo's in the Theatres of Tilburg, during several weeks.
The Theatre celebrated its 50 years anniversary back then. This was one of my photo's at the exhibition that followed. There was also a publication made.

One more photo of the palm fringed Ashtamudi shore taken off Munroe Island in the northern part of the lake/lagoon/estuary.
Indian Sub-continent is shaped like a big Italy. It is bounded by high mountains in the north (Himalayas) and attached with a big island off the southern tip (Sri Lanka). Its national flag is Triicolore with Dharmachakra, the Wheel of Law.
Like Italy, India also has a north-south issue. However, the issue is reverssal. The south is wealthier, better-educated, and more hard working than the north.
UNDP calculates the Human Development Index (HDI) by Indian State. It is a composite index consisting of both economic and social indices such as GNI per capita, life expectancy, literacy rate etc.
HDI of Kerala has been No. 1 or 2 in India over decades, while the worst states in terms of HDI are Bihar and Uttar Pradesh in the north.
Kerala is noted for its high literacy rate that is almost 100%(!) as well as other social indices, albeit economic indices are moderate.
