This image is from Koukokuji Temple in Japan. What you see are small Buda statues made of glass that have multicolored lights under them. They are programed to be a light show at times.
This display stands for many things, but my take away was this- in a crowd of many, there is always one that stands out. A light to others. Don't conform, be who you are and you can shine too, standing out in the crowd.

It was hard to find the Woodies after they jumped out of the creek. It was so muddy, I couldn't get close. When I pulled the shot up on my computer, I noticed they were both standing on one leg.
With my college move in date coming quick, I decided to shoot L-521 making their way to Kimberly one last time. Chances are the next time I can shoot this train, things will have drastically changed. It is certainly the end of an era.
I held up the group to take this "one last shot" near Mesa Arch in the Canyonlands near Moab, Utah. Actually, it was more like 20 last shots. Then I hustled back, and, as the group became visible down below, I started to limp, but all I heard were shouts of "We're not buying that." Yew trees in a Shropshire graveyard, England - Wales is believed to have the oldest tree in Britain, a yew of course! This can be found at St. Cynog's Church, Defynnog in Powys - Its DNA and Ring Checks confirmed it's over 5,000 years old - Amazing?
We showed up around 3pm on the 24th and the museum was already about to close. I think everyone's eager to go home and spend Christmas Eve with their families.

I think I received a Polaroid One Step ages ago on my 16th birthday! I would love to still have it but this decoration will do for now. Maybe when we're able to hit the antique shops again, I might find one to add to my little collection.

One giant leap for Frogkind...Common Gray Tree Frog ranges from 1 1/4-2 3/8 inches (3.2-6cm); he is nocturnal and usual live high in tree tops, which is why I was surprised to find him on my back garage screen door!
The light was bad but I did get a couple of shots before I called for help to remove him to a garden; turns out the little guy can easily leap 3-4 feet! Which is what he did, into my kitchen...Chaotic attempt to catch him before he leaped behind the fridge, or Frodo got him! Captured him and released him outside hear his normal habitat. Phew, one efficient little machine there!
