One Life" Challenge.

Look to the sky

Don't ever let it pass you by

You've got to live it while you can

We only get one life

In one of our walks I met this small mushroom that seemed to be born on a stone. While approaching I verified that actually it was growing in what we supposed that it would be some type of excrement of an animal. Any place is good to survive, I suppose...

This shot is from a few years ago. This beautiful one legged Blue Jay came around all winter long. Trying to catch them to possibly help them can cause more stress and this one could fly just fine so catching would have been almost impossible anyway. Life is harder for a bird like this so I tried to make each day a bit easier by providing plenty of accessible food and fresh water. He/she came here every day to eat and drink for months then at some point in March, I never saw it again.

My apple trees have been given another season, I'm expecting a tree surgeon next week to tell me what can be done for them, if anything.

Pier One, Walsh Bay Wharf Precinct.

Hickson Road, Millers Point.

Near Dawes Point and 'The Rocks'.

View looking north across Sydney harbour to Blues Point (and the ubiquitous Blues Point Tower), McMahons Point, Luna Park, and the 'city' of North Sydney.

Photographed late yesterday afternoon, a little later than I had planned due to stopping to take pictures of a black Bentley I just happened to discover parked outside the Harbour View Hotel.

My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV with the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L lens.

Processed in Adobe Lightroom and PhotoPad Pro by NCH software.

A Smooth 'Chestnut' filter from the Flickr Photo Editor.

Every year I find it so very difficult to say good-bye to Autumn, my favorite season. I just have to post this shot for one more look ...

THANKS

An entirely different kind of world than the one I posted yesterday, but to me, it looks like there is an entire world in this single drop at the end of the tiny bit of moss.

Moulting season can be a challenge!

This is an image from the spring I never posted because I thought I missed the moment with the mink’s one eye covered by the leaf. However, it seems perfect for this Smile on Saturday’s theme of “ one eye”. I am sure his cute little pose will put a smile on someone’s face. His pose shows off the little white patch under his chin and the webbing on his paw.

Due to lack of time, I chose an old image, but I think it will match to the theme "one single drop."

A wonderful weekend to all and don't forget to smile :-)

I have not been around for a while. Today I picked up the camera with macro lens for a change.

“The Purple One” is the fastest disappearing chocolate from a Quality Street tub, with 37% of people who have ever eaten Quality Street saying it is one of their favourites. The caramel and nut treat stands far ahead of its second placed rival, the Green Triangle, on 27%.
