Raksha masks are traditional demon masks from Sri Lanka that play an important role in festivals, ceremonies, and cultural performances. "Raksha" means demon in Sinhalese. They have predated Buddhism for many years, and are associated with the Rakshasas, a mythical race that once ruled Sri Lanka and could shape-shift.

Eric Douglas invented this protective spray mask when he was C/O of RAAF Amberley. He also invented a Boltless Aircraft undercarriage but did not apply for a Patent as he considered it to be of prime interest to the RAAF rather than himself personally.

Phi Ta Khon Festival, or more commonly known as the Ghost Festival of Thailand It is said Prince Vessantara (Buddha in his past life) went on a long journey. It was a journey so long that most of his followers believed he was dead. Surprisingly, one day, he returned, alive and in good health. His followers rejoiced, and the celebrations that followed were so strident that it resulted in the awakening of the dead.
Here are more faces in the clouds. See them? I see a face in the top layer of clouds and a face in the bottom layer. It reminds me of the comedy and tragedy masks. Like the top one is reflected in the bottom one. Amazing stuff. I've never seen so many forms, especially of faces, in the clouds before. Seen during our time in Natal, Brazil.

Oh my, I think I might have Urinary Tract Infections. I am not sure about it though, it has not been confirmed by my doctor. I just woke up today with contractions around my bladder area and the urge to pee but I can't, it stings.

i like masks. this one is a cleanser. It isn't as thick and restrictive as some...but i also like those. The really cool ones peel off in one piece like a bad disguise in a james bond movie.
