While at the India Habitat Centre in Delhi spotted this exhibit on West Bengal - pictured here a compilation of some of the masks.
This drawing by Leonardo da Vinci is a wordplay with anti pasta and la peste (italian for the pest) . Nothing that is touched by hands can be used . Nothing! You will contaminate yourself while trying to protect others. Who needs that. Keep your distance!
Despite the cloud of steam you can still make out many buildings in Leeds including Candle House, Bridgewater Place and the Parkinson building of Leeds University
An exhibition in museum Kranenburgh in Bergen, all subjects were air related.
Mask by Ai Weiwei is perhaps the most unambiguous work in this setup: a gas maker carved out of marble, made in protest against the enormous air pollution in Beijing.

Whenever I go out I always put my lipstick on. Then I take my lipstick with me. I always have a new mask with me too.
When I arrive wherever I am going, I put on my mask.

My best friend gave me a flexible mask holder the other day to put on the mask and it is exquisitely convenient when we drink/eat. I gave her a hand gel in this sensitive time. Taken on the mask.

Korean wood carving (2004). This face, with bits Bunuel-like cut through one eye, depicts the tricky self-interestedness of the Confucian scholar (who, more often than not, had a job high up in government and also was a landholder). Samyang 6.3/300 tele lens. Indoors with direct sunlight.

In the garden silenced by the moon, the couple moved like elegant phantoms.
