Without a blink
Without a sigh
His circle and hers meet
Synchronised split
Split seconds beat

"The line_up is a paperwork series I developed since 2010. The“liners” are made out of paper (Din A3),
oil paint and graphite, the theme is the hermetical laws of polarity and movement. There is no ending and no beginning in any direction, just an endless movement. You have the possibility to arrange the papers like you want and that makes it an endless playground for my photo-work and the eyes of the viewers."

I recently saw someone post some images of the interior/exterior of the Oculus in NYC and it inspired me to look back at a few of mine.
While the Oculus serves as a transport hub and center for commerce, it also stands as a stunning piece of art. Minimalist in terms of color, the design makes up for it with amazing lines. The stark white ribs lead the eye up and to the night sky in the glass opening providing for nice contrast.

It was a pretty enough of a day. The temperature was mild. Autumn still lingered in this part of the Eastern Sierra. The coffee was hot and strong. I was listening to country music and exploring some country roads looking for photographs.
I thought this looked interesting.
