I took this of the tasty little Cream Puffs that I made for my husband. My husband has been asking for nineteen years for me to make them. I had not made these since I was in junior high. I was pleased at how they turned out.
Every Thursday I make cacao for MT to bring to school - since they have Outdoor Day. Every Thursday I start a little bit of slow with a cup of hot cacao in my cup - when I first make it, I make something for me as well.
It's a good tradition. And a good way to start our day.

This is my first homemade turkey soup recipe made from scratch! The soup smells heavenly as it's simmering. The house smelled like Thanksgiving all over again but this time it's one pot cooking!

Super jumbo lump! All crab, lots of green onions, cilantro, eggs, and just a dash of paprika, spicy mustard, mayo, crushed red pepper, ground black pepper, and lemon zest (from my friend's tree), just a teensy bit of bread crumbs to coat the outside. Sauteed in butter.
Have an itch to play with some large negatives, so will put a camera together with junk I have laying around.

I am in a BAD mood, hoping the chocolate would help, I made some homemade chocolate sauce to top vanilla ice cream and I added some fresh blueberries....not a great combo, not a great sauce, my fail same old too runny and too chocolatey for me!

had a pukey kidlet, then laundry load # 5 for the day, then i felt quesy, then some neighbors stopped by with their son to play, so we pulled all the pooch pads off of the couches, forgot to put them on again, made dinner, ate dinner, never re opened dog door, just discovered dog peed on loveseat by hubby sitting in it......no one is happy tonight! ugh ugh triple ugh....on to load # 6 of laundry for this friday....with thunder storms and clothes on the line, lots of bedding!
this is the first apple pie i've ever baked from scratch and am thinking it looks pretty good. the apples are from stacey's tree! i made it for our gardener, simon, cos he brings us homemade menudo all the time and i wanted to do something nice for him. :)
