A good friend's parents keep a nice garden and each summer they share some of its bounty with us, the okra is always something we look forward to with great anticipation.

Distilled Water ~50°C(122°F): 750 ml

Metol: 2.5 grams

Sodium Sulfite (Anhydrous) : 100 grams

Borax: 2 grams

Cold Water to make: 1 liter

N-2 Dev, 16 exposures for zone 9 (F22 1/500s), 1 long exposure for zone 5 (F22 30s with the aid of an ND10K B+W filter). Bit adventurous for first go with home made dev but it worked!!!!! Bit contrasty but load of highlight detail.

I scanned pictures the kids drew, shrunk them, printed & mounted them on cardstock. We made heart crayons by melting old crayon pieces in silicone heart molds.
