Halloween was more than a week ago, but when your aunt makes you a costume as cool as this, you like wearing it any day you can. :-)
This was also a good thing because he hadn't really given me a chance to snap a decent photo of the outfit on Halloween (it was a busy day for everyone).

Inside the house at the dairy ranch where we shared a wonderful homemade dinner with the family. Homemade tortillas are a staple of family dinners.
My first time making pizza from scratch, including the dough. It was easier than I thought, thanks to my kitchen aid mixer! The hard part was trying to get it circular, but the end result was delicious!
Ingredients used for toppings:
tomato sauce
red onion
zucchini
mushroom
mozzarella cheese
pesto sauce
yellow pepper
italian spices
Dough:
flour
active yeast
salt
olive oil
water
toppings: Yves fake pepperoni, mushrooms, spinach, mozzarella cheese balls, and shredded mozzarella cheese, homemade tomato sauce with thai chilis, garlic and onions. The thai chilis did the trick.

Chris and I made caramels over the weekend using Grammy's recipe....and yesterday I wrapped them in wax paper like she used to. They don't taste quite as good as when she made them, but I think it's more that things taste better when someone else makes them. Hope you have a great day!

Making homemade detergent based on this recipe. It doesn't look exactly like storebought detergent -- it's lumpier -- but that might be because I didn't follow the directions exactly. It works great as far as I can tell, and smells nice and clean!

I am a little spoiled as my husband is the one cooking most of the time. For dinner we will have Penne Rigatte with fresh spicy chili sauce. In this picture you can see what the ingredients are. Only thing missing is the pecorino cheese which is used to finish the dish. I am looking forward to it!

I've been selling homemade chocolates for a couple of years now and this year, my cousin somehow managed to convince me to sell chocolates for this coming Valentine's Day at her school. Oh well, wish me luck.
