Sandra finished her homemade Christmas cake today and I added a couple of lego figures to finish it off ;-).
Now have to wait till Christmas Day to eat it!

Plantago major infused 1:1 in warm coconut oil makes a salve that is anti-inch and a balm for skin issues. We use it on insect bites, scratches, rashes... and it works very well. I have found that Plantain draws toxins from wounds and bites. It is a powerful weed.
Leonurus Cardiaca the Heart Tonic
Motherwort Vies for the Honor of Being the Best Heart Tonic Known. It calms and supports the heart and nerves, and may be used in large doses. Motherwort is beneficial as a healing tonic in recovery from debilitating fever where other tonics are inadmissible; it is a good diaphoretic. The latin name for Motherwort correlates with the plant's beneficial properties for the heart. It is often used as a general heart tonic, especially where psychological distress and heart issues are related. For example, rapid heart beat and tension to the heart because of stress, phobias, and even anger benefit from motherwort. It also improves circulation and lowers blood pressure. People who frequently take this herb talk of its uplifting effect on the heart. As with any potent cardiac, it is important to talk to your doctor before self-prescribing this herb if you have any serious heart problems such as high blood pressure or heart disease.
