Photos taken in early August at the Swoop launch event. As part of the event skydivers attempted to swoop in over one of the Norrebro lakes and to waterski using the momentum and lift from their parachute as far as possible.

As soon as I started taking pictures of this dragonfly, it decided I would make a great perch instead! Several times, it stayed for a while on me, then left, perched somewhere else nearby, and then when I tried to take a photo took off to land on me again! Frustrating for the macro photographer, but pretty cool nonetheless. Photo by my wife. (IMG_2177_SM)

24mm reversed lens @ f/16 with handheld flash on full. This little guy was around 8-10mm in size and was kind enough to let me take a couple shots before going about his day.

Sheltering in the shade of a tree, a local railfan throws a wave to the engineer of eastbound CSX train Q022 in Berea, OH. A nice YN2 C40-8 leads the train towards Cleveland.
George Young, from the Grappone Collision Center volunteered for a day at the Friendly Kitchen painting the walls a beautiful yellow and helped with minor carpentry. Looks Great!

This fellow landed on my out-stretched hand hoping for food (I only tease them), a behaviour commonly trained in Edmonton Chickadees.
This is the first White-breasted Nuthatch I've seen go for the offer. It even stayed put for about 10 seconds, Chickadees evacuate immediately if there is no food.

It's our Singapore Navy force on Singapore River in the city area! Something happen?! Nah... It's an act from the Singapore National Day Parade Rehearsal, they are here to practice their drill, and to show us what they are capable of.
Adding in a scratching approach with heavy vignette to simulate looking through a scratchy, old piece of glass like a scope or binoculars.
