One of the many friendly waitresses, holding tonight's delicious selection of Spanish red wine. Incidentally, I can't believe how hard these people work. You'd see a person wait on tables all day, then participate in the evening's entertainment show, and then pouring drinks in the evenings. One guy said he started at 8am and usually went home at midnight. (And he had a one-hour commute to his house). He got one day-off per week. Crazy!

This is my friends cat and she is so friendly. She came and sat down on a strangers lap without hesitation. I wish I had a cat like that too :)

This is a photo of a bird that always hangs out on the tree in front of our house. I finally got some some sun for a nice photo of it.
This cute beetle landed on my hand. I think it is Pseudolycus sp. Possibly Pseudolycus marginatus though still waiting on I.D confirmation. [Winburndale, NSW]

in the "musical clothing" room. the idea was to exchange pink clothes with other party goers in this room. but i think everyone was really attached to their pink clothes! miss mccoochie and i used it as a dressing room, though.

They cut the horns nowadays, IMO it's a complete amputation, AND they have to wear these big ugly yellow earrings, they cause inflammations. It's a registration system because of diseases like BSE. Stupid, as implanting a chip is a good alternative.

At Fort Stanwix National Monument, there were extra park rangers on hand to dig pilot holes to see if there was anything of archaeological significance where a sprinkler system was planned to be installed. They weren't finding anything, despite having gone down pretty deep. She answered my questions about when the re-creation of the fort had been done, and about the digging.
I was more interested in the creation of public history, than in the history of the fort, I'm afraid.
