The sun is creator of three dimensional patterns from the lattice of a pergola. Am taking advantage of what little sun shows in late Autumn Downunder (Australia ).

My contribution to Macro Mondays' challenge, "Fill the Frame", on 1 June 2020. To demonstrate that the image complies with size limitations, I have arranged the rocks on a 3" wide platform of Lego pieces.
I collect little rocks like these whenever I'm travelling in regional and remote parts of Australia. This collection includes copper from Arkaroola, malachite from northern Tasmania, a haematite pebble from the Oodnadatta Track, and possibly lead, nickel or zinc from Broken Hill. Not sure what's in the orange rock with the brown band.

WIT: Was just looking at my microphone, and suddenly saw the pattern. Cropped to show it more clearly, as I thought filling the frame would do it.

Handy for pinning quilts together which I'm never going to do ever again, preferring to leave it to the experts now.

I haven't seen many Cabbage White Butterflies so far this year, but the Dandelions were very abundant.
