CC Most Versatile - the Color White
Delicate white flowers with bits of red sprinkled with raindrops.
For 27 years, I worked at a university and never was a clock watcher. But I can well remember my job for four years in college, where I was wishing for the clock hands to speed up!

And dust ;-) Detail of an old Opel Kapitän, taken at the German Museum of Technology in Berlin. This model is either a P 2,5 or a P 2,6 (sorry, as usual I forgot to photograph - or even look - at the description) and was built between 1958 and 1963. It looked very shiny and polished at the museum, nonetheless I wasn't surprised to see so many scratches and lints when I viewed it on the monitor. Well, dust is everywhere, isn't it ;-)
CC Week 5: Fill the frame with vibrant color
This is my first time to try this. Fun! I'll have to try a colorfully varied pattern of a Hawaiian shirt for the backdrop next time instead of a yellow backdrop.

I've shot and posted this water feature before but this is the first time I've seen it without the waterfall going. : )
I am filling the frame for the Macro Monday theme with hot peppers. I grow them in my garden each year and add them to almost every dish I prepare. I love the heat these tiny peppers bring. In the summer when tomatoes are ripe I make tacos or burritos and add these fiery little devils and the first couple bites can almost make me lose my voice but I adjust to the heat and am soon ready for más!
Moisés Ville, provincia de Santa Fe, Argentina.
Old jewish colony town.
Desoldering wick, maginified over 2000x at the full 3000x1500 pixel image size posted here. The actual product is about 1/8" (3mm) wide.
Rosin flux, the greyish material scattered throughout, helps the solder flow onto the copper braid when heated with a soldering iron.

On Tuesday I went on a leaf-hunting quest to the New York Botanical Garden, hoping to capture something special for that week's Crazy Tuesday theme. I took many photos of leaves, and then rushed home to pore through the many photos I had taken and quickly upload my favorite before the deadline of 22:00 BST. British Summer Time! Unfortunately, I miscalculated by an hour, and was locked out. So now I have all this photographic foliage. Let there be leaves! -- New York Botanical Garden, the Bronx, NYC -- August 29, 2023
