Bubbles floating looking like some type of planet system. Actually a large bottle of hand sanitiser. A photographers dream as the bubbles were static.

Have a safe week everyone.

Hello amazing Flickr people!

Today is Monday, again! And it is a red day at Color My World Daily Group. The theme at Macro Mondays is fill the frame.

So what is red and fills the frame perfectly? Raspberries in glass of sparkling water, of course!

And since my weekend was a little bit too much festive, I definitely have to put an end to this excessive lockdown drinking! So here I am, Monday is the new beginning (again lol but I don’t mind starting over and over until it works) of my healthier and back to shape lifestyle. I will try to eliminate Nutella completely from my menu and replace it with raspberries (why not?). Let’s see if it works ;-).

For now, I have to go: my video meeting is about to start!! See you later my friends!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and healthy!! And enjoy your day!!!

HMM.. the macromondays' theme for today is "Crinkled, Wrinkled, Folded or Creased". and this is at least two of those ~grin~

I'm folding an origami Echidna and I thought it would be a nice idea to try to make a full frame shot of the spines. When I looked at the photo on my computer, I saw to my big surprise a little fox face staring at me ;-)) Best viewed at a large screen and from a distance.

Happy Macro Mondays!

Gerbera Seeds which I have had in a jar for 2 or 3 years and I keep thinking "I am going to do something with them". I tried to plant the odd one but nothing ever happens. This is was one of the easiest MM projects ever, I just pointed the phone into the jar. I think I shall set them free now

The small peony tree in our backyard gets about three large blooms every year, and if I'm not on the ball, I miss them, as there are other plants in front of it. I was looking for them, and two days ago, voila! There they were in all their beauty, only to last a few days.

HMM and happy new week!

For MacroMondays#Fill the Frame one rose from my garden.

Even though I knew there would be a lot of flower-filled frames today, I couldn't resist taking a picture of one of my roses.

Stay healthy and take care of yourself.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my rose and

HMM!

A cloudy winter day, no more snow and the rain begins tonight. The bare trees soon will begin showing the first leaves of Spring.

I discovered this small group in our garden. Certainly clouded (muzzy) by the scent of this rose ;-) The roses in our garden are blooming beautifully and in time for Pentecost ... I wish you all pink-scented clouds and sunny Pentecost!

Flowers are like the sweet babies of the nature; they make us smile.

I shot this peony, growing in our back yard, with clear crystals hanging over the my Lensbaby Velvet lens.

I posted a star magnolia a couple of weeks ago. This is a lily magnolia. The stamens are completely different in the two types, as are the petals. The magnolia trees are still very pink around here but the flowers are starting to fade. They last such a short time...

For Macro Mondays - Fill the frame

Autumn in Melbourne is always beautiful, and we are fortunate enough to have some beautiful big blue sky days as part of the season. On one such day, I took a stroll and saw the last few remaining pale pink roses on a bush for this autumn season. Bathed in soft autumn sunshine the pink bloom was too beautiful not to photograph.

Melbourne has experienced a wonderful Indian summer this year, and as a result, not only are there still plenty of beautiful blooms about, but the Autumnal colours are starting to appear.

This is a detail (1X magnification) of an old colored glass bowl inherited by my mother (I believe that it is at least 100 yo).

These shapes reminded me another old thing: an Isaac Asimov book published in 1952: "The Currents of Space".

When I was a teenager, I imagined something of similar reading this title! ;-)

Have a great MM, dear Flickr friends.
