if i wasn't using the tiny blue flowers for macromonday, this might have been the posting for the theme of "into the woods".
The Flickr Lounge-Fill The Frame
I have two of these little cuties living in my backyard now. They are so tiny compared to the other squirrels. I'd say they are just slightly bigger than a Chipmunk.
Real flowers are much more beautiful than plastic ones, in part because of their impermanence. People appreciate the seasons, the autumn and the spring, because the seasons are a process of change. Each season is a precious time. In this way, impermanence is beauty.

since it's middle of winter here I had to resort to "silk" flowers... oh well they have a nice leaf structure. 😄

A random selection from coral sand: Tapeka Point, Russell Bay of Islands New Zealand. These are not rare but seldom seen because of their small size.

I have wonderful creative and fun neighbors down the street. I'm glad to have been their realtor. They are a delight to have nearby.
Lot's of wet push pins of assorted colours, this is my photograph for Macro Mondays 01/06/2020 .... topic: Fill the Frame.
And yes you certainly do have to push it real good to get a firm fixture especially when they are wet and slippery .... 😂 😹

Have a good week, everyone! 😊
Today's theme for the Macro Mondays group is 'Anachronisms.....
This is something that is out of place in the modern day...
Technology has moved on but I still like the iconic design of the Blackberry phone. I was surprised how small it was by present day standards, having not seen it for donkeys years. At the time I bought it, I thought it was huge!!!!
Thanks for visiting.
HMM.
the macromonday theme for today, 6/1, is fill-the-frame. methinks there are 5+ possibilities. this may be the best macro but maybe i should have cloned out the hair??
there are 7 possibilities today. in a moment i'll change the order on my photostream putting the ones i like best at the front.... then i'll dither, as i usually do :)

I've discovered a trove of pictures I took on a seminar swing over three weeks in Northern California, Oregon and Washington in 2004. I got a LOT of pictures, which I'm just recently rediscovering. This is fun!
This is somewhere between Orick and Klamath, California. It was probably among the Redwoods, although I don't remember the situation of this particular picture.

Ran out to pick up a couple grocery items we'd missed over the weekend today and splurged on some new flowers for the house.
Glad I did, a plow decided to get to work in front of the house this morning and woke me up at 3:30, needless to say, it's been a long day and by the time I picked up the camera my motivation was pretty much zapped.
Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
