Went to the Hibachi with a few friends for dinner on a friday night, Wanted to capture the onion volcano that they make but they didn't come out good.
Ordered from Grand Western Steaks. This is Australian raised Wagyu, so some snobs might not consider it to be "real" Wagyu. In any event...
The next day we tried some of the Filet Mignon. First, a period of dry-brining. This is the "before" shot and the "after" will be next.

Taken with a new camera, the instruction manual of which I haven't read.
Grilled filet mignon; cous cous with sauteed vegetables (onions, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, fresh basil); roasted brussels sprouts; cranberry sauce; Caesar salad.
