The filet was splendid! Topped with a bone marrow compound butter, then stacked on a potato croquette and served with some perfectly cooked veggies and a Madeira-infused demi-glacé (via Foodspotting)
VV's main course. The beef was totally delicious, although I think it may have been a little closer to medium rare than medium. He gave me the reddest pieces since i like my meat kinda bloody :)
Decided to spoil myself and ordered room service - 8 oz filet mignon with roasted garlic red jacket smashed potatoes and steamed asparagus. Not bad, though I wish they had given me a steak knife.
