VV decided to try the kabob barg (we usually get koobideh) which is hunks of filet mignon on a skewer. The meat was really good.
I cooked this USDA Choice (from Costco, of course) filet mignon a bit rarer than I had intended (REALLY rare--perhaps might be termed 'blue'), but it was really outstanding.

I'm torn now on whether I should buy the USDA Choice filet mignon or the USDA Prime rib-eye at Costco because this was so good.

I was damn hungry too.
It just all went into the trash.

Japanese barbeque...Yakiniku. I could eat this every single day. It's one of my favorite things in the world :)
Another filet mignon steak marinating before hitting the grill. Accompanied by some yellow bell pepper also waiting for the grill.
I only remember this because this was my dish. 8oz of medium rare beef...yummm.
I didn't post a photo of VV's food because he got the same thing, just his was cooked medium and he asked for the sauce on the side.
