This round 2 story masonry tower with a castellated top, was shortened from 4 to 2 stories, to avoid confusion with the new "High Lighthouse." It once served as the front range light, paired with the St. Andrews church shown in the previous photo.
Inactive since 1832 and now a private home.

En liten kløverart som er lett å kjenne igjen på de ullaktige små fotballformete frukthodene med frø som dannes etter blomstringen.
Ellers er planten hårløs.
Blomstene er halvkuleformete, fra lys til mørkere rosa. De sitter på stilker. Av og til korte stilker. Sammenlignet med kjente kløverarter som rødkløver er blomstene små, bare 6-8 mm i diameter. Frøhodene er større: 10-14 mm.
Bladene er ovale, avlange og har tannet kant.
En god fórplante for husdyr og av og til dyrket til dette formålet. Røttene sørger for god nitrogentilførsel til jorda og planten er en god jordforbedrer.
Et passende norsk ord på denne kløverplanten burde være filtkløver eller ullkløver.
