1. Material

ENG With Hassan as guide, we went to the Black Town (my group always called it by that name and only afterwards did I learn that its real name is Khamliya), leaving the Black Desert and the Dayet Srji lagoon behind. There I saw my only mirage. It seemed like a lake of blue water tremulously dancing in the distance but when we got to that point there was nothing there but arid sand. It was sweet and amazing to be able to say that indeed I saw a mirage in the Sahara. I hadn’t foreseen it but it wasn’t till I lived it that I realized that it completed the trip.
ESP Con Hassan como guía nos dirigimos hacia el Pueblo Negro (mi grupo siempre lo llamó así y solo después me enteré que su nombre de verdad es Khamliya), pasando el desierto Negro y la laguna de Dayet Srji. Allí vi mi único espejismo. Parecía haber un lago de aguas azul bailando temblorosamente en la distancia pero al llegar no había nada más que desierto árido. Fue dulcemente alucinante poder decir que efectivamente vi un espejismo en el Sahara. No lo esperaba pero hasta que lo viví no me di cuenta que completó mi experiencia allí.

Noen ganger er frukten eller frøkapselen det mest synlige og ikke blomstene på planten. Dette er tilfellet med Medicao orbicularis. I gresset ser man store runde skiver, nesten som henslente mynter. Det er runde spiralformete frøkapslene til denne planten. De kan bli 2 cm i diameter. Alle artene i snegleskol-slekten (Medicago) har sin spesielle form på frøkapslen enten de er runde, piggete, krokete eller hårete. Blomstene på Medicago orbicularis er knøttesmå og uanselige. De er gule og bare ca 4mm høye. De sitter på korte stilker og vokser fra bladfestet. Enten enkeltvis eller I klaser på opptil 5. Bladene sitter tre sammen, har form som en andefot, ovale og butte i enden med tenner.
