China's second aircraft carrier returns to dock at the Dalian Shipyard in northeastern China's Liaoning Province on May 18 after its first sea trials. The murals Asian Symphony and Tropical Rhapsody were made by Singapore sculptor Ng Eng Teng for the Garden Hotel in 1971. Prior to the demolition of the hotel in 2010, the murals were salvaged and donated to NUS. They are now installed at the National University Health System Building and NUS Museum respectively.

Die Chesa Planta wurde 1595 von der Familie von Salis als stattliches Patrizierhaus erbaut und 1760 zum Doppelhaus erweitert. Der Bau ist ein eindrucksvolles Beispiel für ein Engadiner Aristokratenhaus.
Im Jahre 1817 ging das Gebäude in den fortan namensgebenden Besitz der Samedener Familie Von Planta über. Diese überführte den Bau 1943 in eine Stiftung Fundaziun Planta-Samedan.
Heute beherbergt die Chesa Planta das Kulturarchiv Oberengadin, das mit einer stattlichen Anzahl von Fotografien, Büchern, Plänen, Herbarblättern und Kunst von der reichen Oberengadiner Kulturgeschichte zeugt. Zudem ist in der Chesa Planta auch die Wohnkultur des 18. und 19. Jhs. erlebbar. Eine rätoromanische Bibliothek ist ebenfalls im Haus untergebracht.
Das Planta Haus Samedan zierte die offizielle 20 Rp. Briefmarke aus der Serie Baudenkmäler der Schweiz, Ausgabe 1968.

Ilfracombe is a popular seaside tourist destination on the north coast of Devon with ferry service to the Isle of Lundy. The town dates back to the iron age and has a small sheltered harbor surrounded by high cliffs.

Black pepper crabs, as its name suggests, beside the rampant use of the black pepper and yet not overpowering, the rest of the ingredients remained as mystery to us. ER said there was generous use of wine, Rika suspected marmite was used and I guessed there was seafood sauce in it. Anyway, a check on the comments online said plum sauce was used. With all that said, black pepper crabs from this eatery were meaty, fresh, flavourful and delicious though the sauce has a hint of sweetness, a marked difference from all the black pepper crabs we had tried. Thumbs up! The sauce was smooth and really unique!
On arrival, we were joined the queue. There were more than 20 people ahead of us. We waited for about an hour to be seated and didn't have to wait long for food because dishes were ordered while we were queuing and ZK had placed ordered for the crabs by phone way ahead.
To the eatery, this is a practical approach: Patrons are welcome to order the crabs in advance but no reservation for table. Customers are served on first come first served basis.

At present there are programs in which the trips to the river are hiking, an alternative applauded by many who prefer walk the tundra with a major contact with nature and more economic prices.

Den som har gått over blomsterengene om våren har muligens oppdaget mange kulerunde frø som sitter fast på bukseben og skolisser etter turen. Da er det sannsynligvis frøene til klengemaure (Galium aparine). Et godt navn for en utspekulert plante som ved hjelp av noe siom ligner borrelås eller med sine piggete frukter får spredt seg videre med mennesker og dyr.
Blomstene er knøttsmå, hvite og stjerneformete med fem kronblader. De sitter i klaser på grener som vokser fra bladfestet. Bladene sitter I kranser oppetter den firkantete og ganske harde stengelen.
Det finnes over 30 maure-arter (galium) i Andalusia og mange kan være vanskelig å skille. Klengemaure er en av de vanligste og lett å identifisere på de omtalte piggfrøene.
Det engelske navnet Goosegrass stammer sannsynligvis fra at klengemaure er brukt som fór til gjess og spesiellt kyllingene til gjess. Unge skudd kan spises og planten er brukt i naturmedisinen mot eksem, psoriasis og for på stimulerer lymfesystemet.
