The farmhouse Poggio Amorelli owned by the couple Adriana and Marco Mazzarrini is located in one of the most beautiful area in Chianti, near to the village of Castellina in Chianti and one of part of the wineyards are also in Maremma, near the village of Magliana in Tuscany.
It embraces 40 hectars land; 15 hectars of wineyard specialized in the production of Chianti Classico DOCG, Gallo Nero and of Morellino di Scansano DOCG.
The Wine production started in 1987, but only in 1995, with the restoration of the wine cellar and with the change in equipments for the wine production, the products started in receiving awards for its quality.
The wines are sold both on the national market as also in foreign countries, majority in Germany and USA. The aim of the Mazzarrini family is to grow in quality and not in quantity, to maintain the characteristics and the management of the family owned company, the only peculiarity to be different in a global market that push towards uniformity of traditions and tastes.

Dass die Winterhelmlinge attraktive Gruppen aus einzeln stehenden Pilzen bilden ist bekannt. Eine Konstellation, wie sie in dieser Aufnahme zu sehen ist, hat allerdings Seltenheitswert. Die kleineren Pilzexemplare winden sich um den in der Mitte stehenden größeren Pilz, als suchten sie Schutz in seiner Nähe. Welches Unheil scheint ihnen zu drohen? Wir wissen es nicht.

Gaomei was called Gaomi in the Qing Dynasty and was renamed during the Japanese occupation. The wetlands here are over 300 hectares, but the area is only 1/10 of Dadu River wetlands. The geography is divided into 7 categories, which results in diversified organisms in this area. Gaomei Wetlands is one of the few places that has wild ducks.
Despite the small area, Gaomei Wetlands have special soils mixed with mud and sand. Ecology here breeds diversified organisms of both plants and animals. Research shows that animals here include birds, fishes, crabs and invertebrates.
位於清水大甲溪出海口南側，廣達1,500公頃的高美濕地，擁有豐富的天然資源，是國內少數幾處雁鴨集體繁殖區之一。 曾在高美濕地棲息的鳥類有多達120餘種，為重要之生態保育區。 目前已逐漸取代大肚溪口，成為喜好賞鳥人士的新興賞線。
高美濕地雖然面積不大，但是由於泥質及沙質灘地兼具，加上與河口沼澤地帶鑲嵌在一起，所以孕育了豐富又複雜的濕地生態，以及目前所知全台灣最大族群的雲林莞草區，形成乾濕相間伴有植物生長的複雜地形，因為地形多變，生態種類亦相當複雜，主要為鳥類、魚類、蟹類及其他無脊椎類等生物。

ENG: This beautiful white staircase is hidden in a commercial building in a shopping arcade in the Leipzig district of Mitte and not far from the suburban train station Mitte. Actually, I just wanted to quickly buy a new shirt, because it was just too hot on this day and so I found in the H&M store this gem. ☻

Eigentlich wollte ich nur auf die Schnelle ein neues Shirt kaufen, weil es einfach zu warm war an diesen Tag und so fand ich im H&M Store dieses Schmuckstück. ☻

ENG: After several years we had to visit the Berlin Cathedral again. I couldn't even remember that the ascent took so long. But the ascent was worth it again and I felt a bit like a tourist in my own city.
GER: Nach etlichen Jahren stand mal wieder ein Besuch des Berliner Doms an. Ich konnte mich schon garnicht mehr dran erinnern, dass der Aufstieg so lange dauerte. Aber der Aufstieg hatte sich mal wieder gelohnt und ich hatte mich auch ein wenig wie ein Tourist in der eigenen Stadt gefühlt.
ENG: In my smartphone memory is now a bit longer a small picture series with 7 photos of the newest subway station of Berlin. The speech is here from the subway station Museum Island (Museumsinsel).
The "Museuminsel" subway station is one of three of the newest subway stations in Berlin's Mitte district of the same name. It is part of the extension of the U5 underground line from Hönow deep in the east of the city beyond Alexanderplatz to Brandenburg Gate and on to the terminus at Hauptbahnhof. Construction had its groundbreaking ceremony in 2010 and it was ceremonially opened in mid-2021. The mega highlight here is the integrated starry sky. The other two new stations are also already in operation and bear the names "Rotes Rathaus" and "Unter den Linden".

GER: In meinem Smartphone Speicher liegt jetzt schon etwas länger eine kleine Bilder Serie mit 7 Fotos vom neusten U-Bahnhof Berlins. Die Rede ist hier vom U-Bahnhof Museumsinsel.
Der U-Bahnhof „Museumsinsel“ ist einer von drei der neusten U-Bahnhöfe im Berliner Ortsteil Mitte des gleichnamigen Bezirks. Er ist Teil der Verlängerung der U-Bahn-Linie U5 von Hönow tief im Osten der Stadt über den Alexanderplatz hinaus zum Brandenburger Tor bis zur Endstation Hauptbahnhof. Der Bau hatte seinen ersten Spatenstich 2010 und er wurde Mitte 2021 feierlich eröffnet. Das mega Highlight ist hier der integrierte Sternenhimmel. Die anderen zwei neuen Bahnhöfe sind ebenfalls schon in Betrieb und tragen die Namen „Rotes Rathaus“ sowie „Unter den Linden“.
ENG: Autumn has many faces, whether rain, fog, falling leaves and the shorter days with darkness. Just like in this shot, the light drizzle and the deep fog at the edge of Berlin.
GER: Der Herbst hat viele Gesichter, ob Regen, Nebel, fallendes buntes Laub und die kürzer werdenden Tage mit der Dunkelheit. So wie bei diesem shot, der leichte Nieselregen und der tiefe Nebel am Rande von Berlin.
Goldener Oktober im Großen Ahornboden
ENG: The Glienick Bridge crosses the river Havel and connects Berlin and Potsdam. The historic half-timbered bridge was opened at the end of 1907 as the fourth building under the name Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke, but it did not take place. It is also called an agency bridge, since various exchanges took place here for the German division (FRG & GDR).
GER: Die Glienicker Brücke überquert den Fluss Havel und verbindet Berlin und Potsdam. Die Historische Fachwerkbrücke wurde Ende 1907 als viertes Bauwerk an dieser Stelle unter dem Namen Kaiser-Wilhelm-Brücke eröffnet, der sich jedoch nicht durchsetzte. Sie wird auch Agenten Brücke genannt, da zur deutschen Teilung (BRD & DDR) hier diverse Austausch Aktionen statt fanden.
ENG: You can see the Lübeck City Hall and its main entrance portal.
This beautiful town hall from about 1240 of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck has been responsible for the fate of the city for almost 800 years. It is one of the most famous brick Gothic buildings and it is one of the largest medieval town halls in Germany. Unfortunately, because of the Corona Ordinances, no building tours were allowed during my visit. So I had to be content with the entrance area as well as the exterior view.

GER: Zu sehen ist das Lübecker Rathaus und sein Haupteingangs Portal.
Dieses wunderschöne Rathaus von etwa 1240 der Hansestadt Lübeck ist seit fast 800 Jahre für die Geschicke der Stadt zuständig. Es zählt zu den bekanntesten Bauwerken der Backsteingotik und es ist eines der größten mittelalterlichen Rathäuser in Deutschland. Wegen der Corona Verordnungen durften bei meinen Besuch leider keine Gebäude Führungen stattfinden. So mußte ich mich mit dem Eingangsbereich sowie der Aussenansicht begnügen.
ENG: On the platform U-Bahnhof Frankfurter Tor of the line U5 the advertisements are all empty at the moment. So perfect for "in-frame" pictures. And the long time exposure of the two trains I took at Friedrichsfelde station. Then I put the two pictures together for a completely new composition. Quasi a picture in picture. ☻

GER: Auf dem Bahnsteig U-Bahnhof Frankfurter Tor der Linie U5 sind die Werbeanzeigen zur Zeit alle leer. Also perfekt für „in-frame“ Bilder. Und die Langzeitbelichtung der beiden Züge habe ich im Bahnhof Friedrichsfelde geknipst. Dann habe ich die beiden Bilder zusammengefügt für eine komplett neue Komposition. Quasi ein Bild im Bild. ☻
Die Berge südöstlich über dem Almdorf Eng (Großer Ahornboden)
ENG: The "Festival of Lights" is already over this year, but here comes my supplement to the Lights spectacle from 17.10.2019.
This event illuminates pretty much everything that is called a sight in Berlin.
GER: Das „Festival of Lights“ ist zwar schon vorbei dieses Jahr, aber hier kommt noch mein Nachtrag zum Lichter Schauspiel vom 17.10.2019.
Bei dieser Veranstaltung wird so ziemlich alles beleuchtet, was man in Berlin als Sehenswürdigkeit bezeichnet.

The Befreiungshalle "Hall of Liberation" is a Neoclassical monument on the Michelsberg hill above the town of Kelheim in Bavaria, Germany. It stands upstream of Regensburg on the river Donau at the confluence of the Donau and the Altmühl, i.e. the Rhine-Main-Donau Canal. It was commissioned by King Ludwig I of Bavaria to commemorate the victory over Napoleon in the liberation war of 1813-15. The opening ceremony was on the 18 October 1863.
You can see the monumental dome roof.
GER: Mein absolutes Highlight war ein Besuch der Befreiungshalle in Kelheim. Noch mehr tolle Bilder von hier, kommt die nächsten Tage.
Die Befreiungshalle ist ein Denkmal auf dem Michelsberg oberhalb der Stadt Kelheim in Niederbayern. Sie steht von Regensburg gesehen donauaufwärts an der Einmündung der Altmühl bzw. des Main-Donau-Kanals in die Donau. Errichtet wurde die Befreiungshalle im Andenken an die gewonnenen Schlachten gegen Napoleon während der Befreiungskriege in den Jahren von 1813 bis 1815. Auftraggeber des Baus war König Ludwig I. von Bayern. Die Eröffnungszeremonie war am 18. Oktober 1863.
Zu sehen ist das monumentale Kuppel Dach.

The Rudolf-Virchow-Hospital in the Berlin district of Wedding was built between 1899-1906 as a municipal hospital in pavilion design by Ludwig Hoffmann. The listed complex originally contained fifty detached buildings and was designed as a garden city. The hospital was greatly changed by the destruction of the war and the construction of new buildings. The clinic has been part of the Charité since 1 April 1995 and bears the official name Charité Campus Virchow-Klinikum.
The German Heart Centre Berlin (DHZB) started operations at the beginning of 1986 and is located at the entrance to Augustenburger Platz. It is a supra-regional special clinic for the diagnosis and therapy of cardiovascular diseases. It has five clinics and around 200 beds, 71 of which are for intensive care.
The impressive staircase of the main building can be seen.

Das Rudolf-Virchow-Krankenhaus im Berliner Ortsteil Wedding wurde 1899–1906 als städtisches Krankenhaus nach einem Entwurf von Ludwig Hoffmann in Pavillonbauweise errichtet. Die denkmalgeschützte Anlage enthielt ursprünglich fünfzig freistehende Gebäude und war als Gartenstadt konzipiert. Durch Kriegszerstörungen und Neubauten wurde das Krankenhaus stark verändert. Das Klinikum ist seit 1. April 1995 Teil der Charité und trägt den offiziellen Namen Charité Campus Virchow-Klinikum.
Anfang 1986 erfolgte die Betriebsaufnahme des Deutschen Herzzentrum Berlin (DHZB) und es befindet sich am Eingang des Augustenburger Platz. Es ist eine überregionale Spezialklinik für Diagnostik und Therapie bei Herz-Kreislauferkrankungen. Es verfügt über fünf Kliniken/Institute und rund 200 Betten, davon 71 für Intensivbehandlung.
Zu sehen ist das imposante Treppenhaus des Hauptgebäudes.

The modern Betnava mansion replaced a medieval court, which was first mentioned in medieval written sources in 1313 as the court of Rudolf, a Maribor citizen and former provincial clerk in Breg near Maribor. The second reliable mention of Betnava can be found in a document from 1363: it is mentioned as Paldrumss hoff – Paltram's manor, i.e. the manor of Rudolf's son Paltram (I). In a document from 1378, Rudolf's grandson Paltram (II) is referred to as von Wintnaw – from Betnava – and this is the first explicit mention of Betnava. Probably at the beginning of the 16th century, but certainly before 1526, the Auerspergs became the owners. In 1555, Volf Engelbert Auersperg sold the estate to his brother-in-law Luka Szekely, and in 1587, the Herbersteins became the owners. In 1677, Janez Jakob Count Khisl bought the castle, but it burned down in 1685. The building was supposedly only restored by the Counts of Brandis, who inherited Betnava along with other associated estates in 1727. Betnava remained in the possession of the Brandis family until 1863, when it became the summer residence of the bishops of Lavant. In 1941, the German occupiers took the manor away from the diocese, and after the war it became state property.

ENG: The term Strelasund crossing refers to the two bridge connections of the island of Rügen over the Strelasund to the Vorpommern mainland near Stralsund.
The new three-lane high bridge with its striking pylon legs can be seen. It bears the name "Rügenbridge" and was opened in 2007. It connects the island of Rügen with the Hanseatic and World Heritage city of Stralsund.
I have photographed the bridge from the "Rügendamm" bridge from 1937.This old bridge is directly next to the new one and accommodates the railway line to Sassnitz.
GER: Mit dem Begriff Strelasundquerung werden die beiden Brückenverbindungen der Insel Rügen über den Strelasund zum vorpommerschen Festland bei Stralsund bezeichnet.
Zu sehen ist die neue dreispurigen Hochbrücke mit der markanten Pylonstiele. Diese trägt den Namen „Rügenbrücke“ und wurde 2007 eröffnet. Sie verbindet die Insel Rügen mit der Hanse- und Weltkulturerbestadt Stralsund.
Fotografiert habe ich die Brücke von der „Rügendamm“ Brücke von 1937. Diese alte Brücke liegt direkt neben der neuen und beherbergt die Bahnstrecke nach Sassnitz.

The Big Maple Plain (1216 m) is located in the middle of the Alpine Park Karwendel on the Eng Alp in Tyrol, Austria and can be reached only via Upper Bavaria.
The Eng Alp is the biggest alpine pasture of Europe. Here everybody can see how farmers are important for taking care of the landscape. Thanks to their constant care and a regular use of the alpine pastures the big Ahornboden (Maple Plain) can be maintained in perfect conditions. In summer almost 500 cows graze on this alpine pasture and some of the maples are older than 500 years. This splendid tree is one of my most favourite.
