daniel & i were supposed to go to an estate sale first thing this morning, & since i'm sans car for the weekend, i thought i'd make him breakfast as a thank-you for doing all the driving -- & b/c i like cooking for him! so i got up just after 6am & walked to the grocery store to get sour cream (the only ingredient missing) & made cinnamon raisin biscuits. i waited till about 8am to call him -- showering & getting all cuted up in the meantime -- but when i called him, he was still asleep, & he told me that he doesn't really feel like going to the estate sale & he guessed he'd just talk to me later.

normally, i'd just drive over there with the biscuits & i'd pick up coffee somewhere along the way & either spend some time with him as he woke up or try to convince him to change his mind about the estate sale -- but it's a 2.5 mile walk to his house, so instead i'm just stuck here.

i don't know what to do with these biscuits. i don't like raisins.

Watching a cooking demo by a chef from Serafina. He made Sugo d'Agnello con orecchiette e funghi. We got a little sample of the dish. It could have done without the mushrooms (only cuz I don't like mushrooms) but it was still good.
