Never got the cooking merit badge. The year I was going to take it was the year I sliced my finger open and was bandaged up. Not easy to cook with. The pit is new, but I *THINK* it's in the same place.
The sexy potato: brown butter + parsely + garlic. A match made in heaven.

Oh man, cooked Hello Fresh burgers today for dinner and they were AMAZING. So good I'm tempted to just buy the ingredients and recreate it manually.
This is my tupperware silicon mold which cast me a fortune. It's only got 7 molds and they're not really the ideal size for muffins but cutting the recipe in half made 7 and the star you can see in other photos.
Ah, the house smelled so good today - it smelled like lefse. We cooked the dough that I showed from yesterday. The bubbles get popped by the lefse flipping stick that we use to turn the pieces. The bubbles (or what was left of them) form the traditional brown spots that you find on good lefse. The kitchen was COVERED in flour today, as were the lefse rollers.
In our family, lefse is like gold. We've been known to count the pieces that everyone else at the table has eaten to ensure that no one has eaten more than others.
Of course, there was some...sampling...going on today - some pieces just weren't of high enough quality to be put away with the rest of the pieces. They served their brethren well and went into our stomachs.
