For Thanksgiving this year I went to my good friend Clifford's family house in Brook Village, Cape Breton.
We spent the weekend slaughtering pigs, hauling boats from the water, fixing barns and swillin' rum. It was a lovely farm in lovely surroundings and we spent a lot of time hiking around the mountain he lives on and around his grandparent's house where we shared thanksgiving dinner.

Skim off the foam that forms. Once foam is removed, add the packet(s) of pectin. Reheat and stir to incorporate pectin into the berries. Bring mixture to another boil.
For this night's meal, Daniel is instructing me how to prepare for food.
The agenda is butter bean. Finding the right can from the cabinet, opening the can with a can opener, pouring the beans in a container and heat up with microwave!
Though it's such an easy task, he went through every steps for me!
