My Primus Express Spider stove boils half a litre of water pretty quickly, especially with a lid (actually my frying pan) on the pot. The plastic legs on the gas canister are a slight luxury and help prevent the stove tipping if the canister is bumped, because the connecting hose isn't all that flexible. The Sea To Summit plate is good for anything involving gravy or sauce, but the folding sides are actually a bit pointless since it gets packed at the bottom of the pile of cooking kit. A rigid plate would be lighter and cheaper.
The Trekmates cutlery is great to use, though the knife and fork don't fold.

I was looking around for things to make for the DH's graduation festivities. I came across the recipe for this olive cheese stuffed bread on the Pioneer Woman's blog. It wasn't right for the party but it did seem right to stuff in my face so I am whipping some up for dinner. Here is the link to the yummy recipe thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2007/06/olive_cheese_br/
