Until now, the only one of my images where I appear in the frame. View of Cradle Mountain and Boat Shed from Dove Lake during sunrise, Tasmania, Australia.
This male Siskin remained on the hook for a few moments, appearing to study the metal leaf. It was a brief, quiet pause in the bird's usual routine of moving between the feeders. Siskins are remarkably agile birds, often seen in restless flocks, so catching one sitting this still and seemingly "lost in thought" was an interesting moment to witness in the garden.
iPhone edit: iPhone 3GS camera, MonoPhix, CameraBag, DXP & Retro Camera as well as the frost texture photo I took of my frosted BBQ lid. FULL RES is this final result... For I used a different trick to then use the Retro Camera frame as a texture.
She's perched on top of a ladder contemplating a bit of exploration in our house roof space.
We're decorating a room at the moment and the wall boards have been removed on the outside wall giving access to the eaves and roof space, a very exciting place for a cat! And yes she did make the jump and spent hours up there and was very reluctant to come back down :-)

It was one of those crazy busy days at the office; so busy that I didn't get a chance to actually eat my lunch. So, needless to say I was pretty hungry by the time I came home.
Grabbed my camera and took a few shots of the birds flying from tree to tree in the backyard.
Just a quick shot today, but I like the way it came out for lighting and space so I'm not disappointed.
Anyway, hope everyone has had a good day.
