Beau having a thoughtful moment

On my second hike up Tai Mo Shan in Hong Kong, I came across this man enjoying the mountain view. Glad that I preserved the moment.....

I took this photograph at the Mark Rothko exhibition. Portland Art Museum. Portland, Oregon.

Greetings mate! I love voyaging forth to Zion National Park to contemplate poetry, physics, the golden ratio, and the Tao te Ching! What's your favorite epic poetry reflecting epic landscapes? I recently finished a book titled Epic Poetry for Epic Landscape Photographers:

Did you know that John Muir, Thoreau, and Emerson all loved epic poetry and poets including Shakespeare, Milton, Homer, and Robert Burns?

How inspiring the grandeur of Zion is! It reminds us of those entities greater than ourselves, such as Homer's Iliad and Odyssey and Light Time Dimension Theory!

I recently finished my fourth book on Light Time Dimension Theory, much of which was inspired by an autumn trip to Zion!

Via its simple principle of a fourth expanding dimension, LTD Theory provides a unifying, foundational *physical* model underlying relativity, quantum mechanics, time and all its arrows and asymmetries, and the second law of thermodynamics. The detailed diagrams demonstrate that the great mysteries of quantum mechanical nonlocality, entanglement, and probability naturally arise from the very same principle that fosters relativity alongside light's constant velocity, the equivalence of mass and energy, and time dilation.

A Connecticut Southern Railroad conductor contemplates the upcoming work to be done in West Springfield, Mass. on a rainy September morning.

Thousands of years ago. This spot that l am standing was under a sheet of ice one to two miles thick. After thousands of years. The planet warmed. The Glaciers receded ( thank heavens Greta Thurmberg wasn't around.....How dare they) . Anyways. What was left were the Great lakes. And the surface before being plains likes became what is is now. Rolling hills and carved rock.

Millions of years from now who knows what it will look like. And a billion after that. The sun will Nova and everything on earth will be gone or charred. A barren rock orbiting a tiny collapsed star. No moon, no anything.

I think about all this when I'm alone looking over the Big Pond.

And l say to myself. Thank you Lord for letting me experience the world now. How glorious it is. And there are things l can't control. Only observe. And years from now I'll be gone. And someone else will be standing on this same ground thinking the same thing. So the thought will be there. Just not the body. Just like the Indian who stood here hundreds of years ago.

What's all this mean. Life is short. Don't wait until it's almost over to discover that which was under your nose the whole time.
