Alf sat and thought while I took this portrait, I asked afterwards what it was that he was thinking about...
His thoughts took him back some 70+ years to family holidays when he was a boy of 8 or 9. He and his sisters went with his parents to Southend, he remembered how his father always took the children to the Gasworks, because he believed the fumes were good for his children's health.
Just got out for a real quick session last nite. Trying to drum up some creepy crawlies or physiograms. Not much time to play.

On the end of Georgetown, ME is a point known as Indian Point. A favorite of ours for several years. This year was my first time in a section I call the giant's bathtub ready to capture the night using HDR techniques.
This is 4 images 1 f-stop part taken just after sundown on a late summer's eve.

Tried as much as possible to add Sepia effect here using Photoshop and Lightroom. This was taken sometimes ago, but it's probably the first time I use these tones in my work.
