I found this container at a garage sale a few years back. We were storing our salt to de-ice the driveway with... oh well. Now it has a new use!

This was my spooky container of dead plants left over from the summer, with some branches and a plaster cast of teeth to finish it off.
Planted four days ago, they look a little humble still. plants include: Goldfinger Sweet Potato Vine , Sweet Potato Vine, Verbena, Calliope Dark Red geranium , coleus, asparagus fern, Angelonia, Supertunias, phlox hybrids, Dracaecena spike, salvia, calibrachoa hybrid.
Somewhat more positive, the container mall provides a (surprisingly) very pleasant shopping experience - cafés, consumer stuff - it's all there. There was some doubt about whether these would survive a winter (they are unheated) but, to my mind, they look fairly attractive, and they were certainly attracting the shoppers.
