Side view of my six container installation art venue after half a day positioning and unloading containers. These are 20 foot cans, and that generator with light tower to the left is too much fun to use.

A skin container to hold magical powder is decorated with seed pods, glass seed beads and cowry shells. The two wooden figures represent the deity Eshu Elegbara who is said to have the power to bring opposites together. The cowries represent fertility, protection and wealth. It dates to before 1868.

This is the part of the container crane that grabs the container corners. It has something in it that keeps the container aligned exactly. This was taken at Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica.

Among my container favorites are the surprising, wild native plants. Common buckwheat adds deep green from its leaves, and cream- and rust-colored flowers to the rustic patio.
