View of ships on the Port of Singapore from the cable cars on Sentosa Island. Two container ships were close enough to identify - the Spirit of Bangkok (Rickmers Group) and CMA CGM Chopin. I had an opportunity to hang with a Ross student group on their day at Sentosa Island. This is a group that is taking a class at SMU along with placement in an internship as part of the Ross Global Initiatives program at the University of Michigan). These pictures are from the S.E.A. Aquarium at Sentosa Island. I am in Singapore for the ABLD-EBSLG-APBSLG Joint Meeting in Singapore from May 16-19, 2016. The Conference was hosted by Li Ka Shing Library, Singapore Management University.

These are images taken on the jettey at the colombo port shortly after this damaged 20 foot container was removed from the vessel, "Hatsu Smart". Oil can be seen dripping from the bottom of the container and there is a massive hole on the top.
