So this is a project that has been 3 years in the making mostly because of trying to find the tiny brandy snifter glasses - and then No POM POMS anywhere till the Dollar tree Yay!!! So now complete - not exactly a replica but I think close from memory.
My aunt made these in regular size for all the family members along time ago and I loved playing with them each December when they would make their appearance. They've long since hit the garage sale table and were forgotten till I've been thinking of all the fun kitchy Christmas decor my grandma and mother had so I hope I did them justice and it would be fun to show my aunt to see what she thinks :D

This is how my Balik-Bayan Box will be travelling on the high seas next week ~ and all next month !
Those containers are 10m-long (33-ft), & 2,4m (8-ft) square . .. and they are piled up 9-high, and 16 abreast, and 20-rows down the length of the ship . . . 2,880 steel containers, each weighing several tons ! How on Earth does it FLOAT ??

Container City is a market place located in Cholula not far from the pyramid. The buildings in this market place are made up of shipping containers which have been stacked and modified in various ways.

Sold in 2020 to Sunir World Trading Inc (Bernhard Schulte Ship Management (UK II) Ltd, managers) and renamed ZARNATA EXPRESS. Renamed NUMBER 9 in 2022 when ownership transferred to Number 9 Shipping Ltd, still under Schulte management.

Today I had a doc appointment scheduled for 12:15. I was called back around 12:45, and didn't see the doc until 1:20. If you make me wait around for that long, yes, I will resort to taking pictures of your stuff just to keep myself entertained.
Fairly simple yet still pretty strong (I think) eight-wide model of a single-bay intermodal well car. The bay measures six studs wide by 32 studs long, which fits Lego®'s Maersk Train containers.
