On the 4th November 2011 the Thomas Hill shunter shunts empty containers at Great Coates after arrival from Roxby. The containers carried Red Gypsum for disposal in the former iron stone mines at Roxby.

Architect designed 'container city' with shipping containers converted to one bedroom accommodation, with ensuite shower, lounge and fitted kitchen. Fully carpeted and centrally heated. A moving in pack of all kitchen requirements provided by Homebase. And quite a few happy streetwise residents.

These containers were given to me by my daughter Racheal. I love them, the lids really lock well.
Well after seeing Swag's Shipping Containers I really wanted to make some of my own, cause large shipping containers would make fantastic cover for Large Mecha.
BUT, there were a few things I wanted to do differently, mainly that i wanted them to interlock nicely to aid in stacking. I also changed things a touch so there 4 rows of the Grille bricks(compared to Swag's 3 rows) but they are still each the same height(5 bricks and 2 plates)
Something else I want to try and do is see if I can find a nice way of making a container thats holds a Mecha scale weapon and splits open to let a mecha grab it.

And maybe even a couple more if you try for some cool 2 tone stuff. I just wish the Grille bricks came in Orange D:
