This is the container that will take our stuff to Australia, assuming that Somali pirates don't get it first.
The canal owners, Peel Ports, operate this container handling facility at Irlam and have ambitions to greatly expand the terminal.
An internal user container. Possibly used for the methyl bromide that is used for fumigation.

Those are (self) refrigerated-containers, probably
for vegetables, heading somewhere overseas.
Two nice loads of wood heading there, as well.

This is how my Balik-Bayan Box will be travelling on the high seas next week ~ and all next month !
Those containers are 10m-long (33-ft), & 2,4m (8-ft) square . .. and they are piled up 9-high, and 16 abreast, and 20-rows down the length of the ship . . . 2,880 steel containers, each weighing several tons ! How on Earth does it FLOAT ??

The port of Seattle is the closest in terms of travel time from Asia so it is one of the most used ports on the west coast of North America (information from bus driver....)
