Computer Engineering Undergraduate Gurpreet Singh Kalsi undergoes the fourth obstacle test at the 2019 Applied Collegiate Exoskeleton Competition inside the Bob and Betty Beyster Building on North Campus in Ann Arbor Michigan on Saturday May 18, 2019.
Six obstacles in all were constructed to test the durability and effectiveness of each team's model. University of Michigan's STARX team won the maximum amount of points from each obstacle test and took home the first place prize at the competition.

A paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division's 1st Brigade Combat Team makes it to the finish line of a 12-mile road march, Aug. 29, 2013, during the Towle/Megellas Competition on Fort Bragg, N.C. GEORGIA GARRISON TRAINING CENTER, Ft. Stewart, Ga. 28 Feb 2015 – The Georgia National Guard's 2015 Andrew Sullens Marksmanship Competition at Ft. Stewart, Ga. wrapped its second day of competition with combat rifle series and the Bianchi Battle completing six stages incorporating shotgun, rifle and pistol. Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host Stephanie Pressman were invited to cover the 35th College Television Awards at the Leonard H. Goldenson Center in Hollywood recognizing excellence in college student-produced video, digital and film work.
The 35th College Television Awards ceremony was hosted by Playing House’s Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham, with Matt Bomer, of USA’s White Collar, Fox’s The New Girl, Max Greenfield, Key & Peele’s Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, Scandal’s Darby Stanchfield, Revenge’s Nick Wechsler, Dexter’s Aimee Garcia, Perception’s Scott Wolf and House of Cards’ Benito Martinez. Additionally, television industry professionals from FX’s Justified writer Graham Yost, Modern Family director Gail Mancuso and voice actor Bob Bergen were also on hand to present awards and give anecdotes about the industry.
The annual event is managed by the Television Academy’s charitable arm The TV Academy Foundation which was established in 1959 to preserve and celebrate the history of television, and educate those who will shape its future.

Saturday Night was the Kata competition. a sub competition with the weekend of Judo, January 28-29, 2023. Over 500 competitors. Great to see so many hard working judoka with such good sportsmanship and camaraderie!

12. novembrī NATO vadītās miera uzturēšanas operācijas Kosovā Latvijas kontingenta karavīri Kosovas militārajā bāzē “Novo Selo” rīkoja izturības un šķēršļu pārvarēšanas sacensības “Best squad competition”, kurās spēkiem mērojās komandas no Latvijas, Polijas, Ungārijas, ASV, Turcijas un Austrijas.
Sacensībās tika aicinātas piedalīties karavīru komandas no visām bāzē pārstāvētajām NATO dalībvalstīm, un šogad pieteicās 13 komandas, kurās bija pa astoņiem karavīriem.
Katra komanda trasē devās savā laikā, un tām bija jāveic uzdevumi vairākos kontrolpunktos, kas atradās dažādās militārās bāzes vietās. Sākumā visiem bija jāveic divarpus kilometru garš maršs jeb skrējiens apkārt bāzei ar pārapgādes elementiem.
Līdz šim Latvijas karavīri sacensībās bijuši līderi, un arī šogad 13 komandu konkurencē pirmo un otro vietu ieņēma tieši Latvijas kontingenta karavīru komandas, trešajā vietā atstājot ASV komandu.
Finišā visas komandas sagaidīja un ar īpaši sacensībām “izkaltu” piemiņas monētu sveica Latvijas kontingenta Kosovā komandieris pulkvežleitnants Ģirts Savins. Uz tās attēlots Lāčplēsis, lai tādējādi iepazīstinātu citu valstu komandas ar nelielu daļu no Latvijas vēstures.
Izturības un šķēršļu pārvarēšanas sacensības “Best squad competition” Kosovas militārajā bāzē “Novo Selo” ir Latvijas kontingenta iedibināta sporta tradīcija, ko 2021. gadā aizsāka Latvijas pirmā rotācija, un turpina arī nākamās.
