The annual University of Miami Business Plan Competition, sponsored by the School of Business, encourages entrepreneurship among students throughout the University of Miami. The School of Business Administration recognizes that potentially successful business ideas can come from a wide range of disciplines and may originate from an individual or from a group of individuals. The competition has been designed to simulate the real world where anyone can have an idea but only those who follow through on their ideas and work through the details of starting a business will reap the rewards of success.

Officer and Naval Cadets from the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) competed at the annual Sandhurst Competition at the United States Military Academy (USMA) - Westpoint. This year they competed against forty-eight teams from the United States and from around the world. With all of their hard work, dedication and teamwork, our Officer/Naval cadets placed ninth overall and second internationally. USMA - Westpoint, Highland Falls, New York on April 28, 2023.

24 June 2013. El Fasher: The UNAMID Joint Special Representative (JSR), Mohammed Ibn Chambas, awards football players at the closing ceremony of the community football competition in Zam Zam camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs), near El Fasher town, in North Darfur.
The community football competition organized by the youth union with support from UNAMID’s Communication and Public Information Division started on 16 June and eight teams from the IDP camp took part of it.
The closing ceremony included cultural and music performances and the distribution of prizes to the winning teams and best players.

These sprouts are commonly known as Field Horsetail or Common Horsetail. In Japan, these are called TSUKUSHI that spring up on the ground in early spring. Those are used as foodstuffs in some of the local area of Japan.
