The next competition is for International artist and the title is People and figures and here are my next attempts at trying to get noticed
At Cape Forchu I watched a dog digging busily in a meadow; eventually it captured the mouse it had been digging for. Overhead a Northern harrier was hunting for the same prey, swooping low over the dry marsh grass looking for any signs of motion.

Ian Loiterton created this sculpture that has an almost translucent quality. It is similar to many other works by the artist - this one was an entry into the McClelland Scupture contest for 2012. It is made of fibreglass and aluminium.
The McClelland Sculpture Contest, officially known as the McClelland Sculpture Survey & Award, is a prominent sculpture exhibition and competition held in Victoria, Australia. Established in 2003, it takes place biennially at the McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery in Langwarrin. The contest showcases contemporary Australian sculpture, attracting artists from across the country to compete for recognition and awards. It plays a significant role in promoting sculptural art, providing a platform for artists to exhibit their works in a natural bushland setting, fostering dialogue about art and the environment.
Its weird the fishes kept coming to the surface of the water even when no one was giving them food.
Hm, competition, competed not for food, but for hope.
Dartmouth's 2010 entry, Penny, races in the autocross event at the Formula Hybrid International Competition.

The Phillip A. Connelly Competition was established in 1968 to recognize excellence in Army Food Service. During the Reserve and National Guard categories, one meal (lunch) is evaluated consisting of line item A-rations. Winners of the Regional competition will move on to the national level. From the FIRST Robotics competition Northstar Regional in Mariucci Arena on the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, campus in Minneapolis. The Morris Area High School team (The Plaid Pillagers) was competing in FIRST Robotics for their second year and won the Imagery Award and must have been serious contenders for the Team Spirit Award. They had some technical glitches that pushed them down in the final standings of the competition, but they learned a ton and had a great time!
