Shoe comparison on my dolls...both are "msd" size ranging from 41cm-43cm but there is a difference in what they can wear.
Both of the feet belong to Chai, my Iplehouse Amy. The white shoe is from Iplehouse and came with her. The black shoe is from Dollmore which I ordered for Bijou, my DOC Twingkey. Although the shoe obviously fits on her feet there is a lot of room to fill. Chai's feet are very narrow.
2013 happened to be a reconstruction year for the famous Ise shrine - and in an incredible stroke of luck, the old shrine was still standing when we visited in December, so we had the chance to see the old and new, side by side. It will be 20 years before the shrine is reconstructed again.
It's not perfect, but I tried to get a few matched views of this, the Ise Geku (Outer) Shrine.

This is a comparison between my modified undamaged Predator mask and the unmodified damaged one. With these mods the mask is pretty damn close to screen accurate I think. Now I just need to add the wires/tubes to the side of the mask. Here's what I did:
- The first thing I did was remold the mask in near-boiling water. I basically just pulled the cheeks apart which in turn causes the crown to lower and curve back more and the chin to be pulled in so it's not so pointy.
- I then ground down the inside of the mask with a dremel tool. Mostly shaving down the inside of the cheeks which are meant to grab onto the sides of the face.
- I then lined the mask with carpet tape as it will no longer stay on without assistance. I also don't put the mandibles on when the mask is on. They take up too much room and make even the modified mask stick out at the chin.
Both of these Mk II Ford Escort RS 2000s are made by Trofue, but the orange one is marketed by Whitebox.
These were in the Eugenics exhibit we went to see in Berlin. The one on the left is a comparison chart for "acceptable" eye colors, and the instrument on the left is to measure the distance between the eyes, or the ears, or the width of the head, to see if the measurements conform to the "ideal."
The broken eye didn't stop me from doing a quick size comparison (please excuse the crappy lighting)
L to R: Monster High, Tangkou, Blythe, Pullip and Soom Lila. Sorry I didn't get measurements, but she's back in her box for now until I hear from Soom about getting a replacement.
Pullip Kuhn is said to have the same skin tone as the Fair MIO kit, Pullip Nostalgia Merl is said to have the same skin tone as the Natural MIO kit

Comparing Rosencrantz, my DoT Camine, and Suigintou. R's got a bit of an unfair height advantage but he's still taller. I wanted to take a pic of both of them without shoes but I can't trust R to stand shoeless.

Adorable Aubrey, Pullip Holly, and Coco, "Lady Windsor". Tried it on an Odeco and it was like a ball gown.

Yeah, and that's a regular Barbie, not even the tanned kind. I think of Briar as like Nahh-ato. Not really dark skinned, just dark skinned compared to all the other dolls ^^;
My son Griffen with his hair getting so long and curly, it drives his mother crazy. At first it was inconvenient to take him to the barber. I realize now, I liked it. He is beginning to look more and more like me every day.
In the early 60’s, the Kennedy family was the rave. Even the most staunch Republican mother was enamored with John, Jackie and the Kennedy children, none more than my mother. John-John Kennedy and I were similar in age and looks as children (e.g. height, hair, build), so my mother decided to treat me like John-John’s twin; my hair was not cut unless his was. So this curly mop would be atop and my mother would say, "When John-John gets his hair cut, so will Joe".
I cannot compare my son to a famous person, but he is so beautiful with this mop on top of his head. I can only compare him to me.
