En bas le restaurant dresse encore ses tables colorées à l'extérieur et les lumières de sa terrasse couverte donnent du relief à cet endroit charmant si prisé des habitués et des touristes. Venez à Montmartre, c'est beau !
Although not a very dramatic sunset, it did include some nice crepuscular rays generated by the contrail above the Big Pink building (see first comment below), and the lights from the Rose Festival City Fair rides nicely filled in what would be otherwise simply be a dark shaded area below the trees. Near Donnelly dome

I'm posting these as a set of two related images. I visited the central, interior region of Alaska in late December 2023, and was excited to see some good light on a lovely cold winter morning on one of our days there. These two photographs were captured about a minute apart. In the first photograph, I was trying to capture this scene in front of me and trying my best to create that sunstar/starburst effect through that tree (not too successfully) while enduring the freezing conditions that I was obviously unaccustomed to. Suddenly, there was a strong gust of wind that came seemingly from nowhere. I did not have much time to react except to quickly turn on the continuous shutter release mode to capture the snow being blown directly at me and at my camera for a few seconds. This resulted in a capture seen in the second photograph. An unexpected blessing and and a lovely experience. I was amazed to see that the same scene can look quite different in a matter of seconds with rapidly changing weather conditions.

This fine fellow (pretty sure its a drake from those curly tail feathers) happened past one afternoon. We live on a salt water estuary, so I have no idea where he came from. We fed him some bread and then he went on his way.

So, little known fact about me. My first real exposure to the avengers was the animated film Ultimate Avengers, and recently i got Age Of Ultron on Itunes, so after watching that, it reminded me of Ultimate Avengers, and so I decided to make some figures from the ultimate universe.
Left To Right
Iron Man: While he didn't sport this armor in the film, I went with it anyways, since it's pretty cool.
Spiderman: You've seen him before. Not to much to say.
Nick Fury: Pretty strait forward as well. Not sure if i've posted him before, but here he is.
Thor: Easily my favorite. Gave him Martian Manhunter's legs to make him a bit taller. Really like how the hammer came out, even though it's a really weird design.

It's almost like I knew this man from another life ♡♡
