Hi everyone, I would very much appreciate a short comment and Not a Fave, Not a Fave.
If you do not like the image pass it by I would respect that, but a Fave which I think is very tacky and disrespectful, so please NO FAVES, and just a very short comment.
Thank you all so very very much.
I spent some time with this guy who was very cooperative and very photogenic.
Thank you as always for visiting and have a great day.
Your comments and favorites are greatly appreciated :-)

Plumeria (/pluːˈmɛriə/; common name plumeria[citation needed]) is a genus of flowering plants in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae.[1] It contains primarily deciduous shrubs and small trees. The flowers are native to Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean, and South America as far south as Brazil but can be grown in tropical and sub-tropical regions.[2][3]
Contents
Plumeria is related to the Oleander, Nerium oleander, and both possess an irritant, rather similar to that of Euphorbia. Contact with the sap may irritate eyes and skin.[4] Each of the separate species of Plumeria bears differently shaped alternate leaves with distinct form and growth habits. The leaves of P. alba are narrow and corrugated, whereas leaves of P. pudica have an elongated shape and glossy, dark-green color. P. pudica is one of the everblooming types with non-deciduous, evergreen leaves. Another species that retains leaves and flowers in winter is P. obtusa; though its common name is "Singapore," it is originally from Colombia.
Plumeria flowers are most fragrant at night in order to lure sphinx moths to pollinate them. The flowers have no nectar, however, and simply dupe their pollinators. The moths inadvertently pollinate them by transferring pollen from flower to flower in their fruitless search for nectar
Plumeria species may be propagated easily from cuttings of leafless stem tips in spring. Cuttings are allowed to dry at the base before planting in well-drained soil. Cuttings are particularly susceptible to rot in moist soil.
In order to get the most from a plumeria plant with respect to growth, size, blooms, and scent, there is a fine balance that must be maintained. Ideally, a plumeria is in its element when it can have plenty of sun and appropriate water, so as to maintain soil moistness just above a state of dryness. On the other hand, if the plant receives a lesser amount of sun, then a lesser amount of watering is necessary - again, to ensure that soil moistness stays just above the dry state. The more sun, the more water. The less sun, the less water. A common mistake of novice plumeria growers is to over-water the plant when it is not able to be exposed to enough sun, thereby resulting i
a rotted root system. Conversely, if a plumeria plant is able to receive maximum exposure to the sun, but they aren't watered enough, the plant will die.
Propagation can also be by tissue culture from cuttings of freshly elongated stems or aseptically germinated seed. Pruning is best accomplished in the winter for deciduous varieties, or when cuttings are desired.
There are more than 300 named varieties of Plumeria.{American Plumeria society, Florida.

Prickly plants being prickly through my jeans. Running 5 meters through prickly plants a hundred times to keep adjusting the settings because of the sun coming and going. People staring at you and giving you weird looks.
But damn, I'm happy with the result.
This is no way the place it looks like, one of the things I like about photography.

Many of you have heard me comment that after the heart attack and cardiac arrest, I'm restricted to a daily walk to our letterbox until surgery occurs.
Well... This is the walk (or at least: the driveway. The letterbox is at the other end; you just can't see it in this scene...!
It's been a long day; please forgive me if I Fave your latest photos. Unfortunately, I'm running a low on Energy tonight...
A very BIG "Thank You" for all your prayers and kind messages; thank you also for taking the time and the trouble to leave an encouraging Comment... It's especially nice to hear from you at the moment, and your comments are greatly appreciated thanks...!

I will get to comments on my contacts' photos tomorrow. Sorry - been one of those days, today!
This is my favourite. Between the mangroves, in the background, is the extension of the beach as it curls around to Cape Flattery. That place is where the very white, fine and pure silica sands come from; the purest in the world. Not sure what the silica is used for - glass" computer chips? ??
Where I am standing (about 20 metres from where I left the vehicle), is where one arrives at the beach with the coloured sands ahead and to the left. We are now at what is known as Cape Bedford. This beach will curl all the way to Cape Flattery. This area is deemed to be Aboriginal land (Hopevale - a former Lutheran mission) because it was given to them. This particular area at the coloured sands is called "Elim" (biblical name - trees/rest/oasis/retreat)
The beach is a bit yellowy in colour but traces of colours are found as they work their way down from the sands. I considered it a pretty area and would liked to have been there longer but time was tight. I must have walked 2 km along and gone up a sand valley as well for some wonderful photos. The four images this time are looking more to the right (2 of them), and more directly at the sands (2 of them) than the last lot, and the first one is my favourite of the 8 so far posted. An old mangrove branch appears in some of these photos.
In questo ampio spazio si svolge, da sempre, “lu ‘ncontru “ cioè l’incontro, tra la madonna e il crocifisso per la “festa di la madonna”, che un tempo si svolgeva a fine maggio e che da una ventina d’anni si svolge a fine luglio per permettere la partecipazione degli emigranti che tornano per le vacanze;
video.sky.it/news/cronaca/caltabellotta-il-rito-per-la-ma...
www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IpuAtCogyA&list=PL9DD76BEE97...
