Is that professional despair?

Sorry I haven't updated lately. ): I kinda lost track of time and forgot to update my 365. So I will start over soon. This is my friend Brittany, had my first hair dying experience with her. Took these pictures right afterward, so it came out pretty good. That's how she wanted it so I took it that I did a pretty good job. I also did my friend Tyler's senior pictures, but I doubt he'd want them on here. Lol.

Comments & Critiques PLEASE!

There are now two books available to buy from Blurb.com; "Stone Dead Forever" and "Geologic Shift". Follow the links for previews and purchases.

In 2008 I started writing and drawing on pebbles on the beach near where I live. In the spirit of the Free Art movement, I photographed the stones and left them there for people to find and enjoy. The first book, 'Stone Dead Forever' came out in 2010 and featured over 60 photographs of inscribed stones. 'Geologic Shift' collects together another 40 of the most popular photographs for you to enjoy.

The project is still going strong having now scribbled on over 400 stones. The text is derived from experiences, ideas, lyrics, poetry, comments, quips, quotes and conversations. A few have been written by request, but I would rather encourage you to grab a permanent marker and go out and scribble, write or draw on your own pebble.

In 2010, the project was featured in an interview on the GPS website by the South Bank Centre, London. You can read all about it online, here. litandspoken.southbankcentre.co.uk/2010/06/29/the-saga-of...

There is also the group on Flickr, at www.flickr.com/groups/stone_dead_forever/ where you can see the full set and upload pictures of your own poetical pebbles.

Comments & feedback much appreciated!

lornaski: Beach looks amazing - it's rained here all weekend!

streipan: @lornaski If you come and visit in the summer, I'll take you to this beach. Two minutes walk from the house.

instagram.com/maddie.wateridge: Is that penybryn or penbryn beach

streipan: @madsbeans It's Pwllheli beach

instagram.com/maddie.wateridge: Ohhh ok I have even there before that's why I recognised it @streipan

Haha I really don't even expect anyone to comment this.

:D

My fave books ever all organized on my bookshelf in my room. Took me awhile too D: I was cleaning my room for over three hours last week and it's not even really done.

But yes, it's rather colorful isn't it?! Yum.

So we've got almost the whole Cirque Du Freak series, which is one of my first favorite series ever. (did that sentence even make sense?!) I never bought the first or the eighth. Hm I know I have the 12th somewhere, don't know why it's not up there o__O

Then we've got the last four books of the Demonata series. Ooh hoo hoo how gory.

My friend's dog ripped up the first one and I never got around to buying the second

Then of course a few of the Harry Potter's, I'm on to the fifth one now so that one's down here and my mom's reading the second. The first is...somewhere and my friend's borrowing the sixth.

Then there's New Moon and Eclipse and The Host, can't find Twilight D:

But yeah, only I would love this picture xD

And yes...you're allowed to give a comment.

Professor Edward W. Felten of Princeton University delivers a lunchtime lecture entitled "Real Policy for Virtual Worlds". This is the first lecture in a new series that brings the campus to the community. Faculty and staff of Princeton will talk about their current research interests.
